practical tests!

practical tests started with the subject journalistic or that we commonly say journal. for some of you that havent known what subject it is. it's a subject that tells you the real way how to be a journalist, the ethic codes of journalism, what journalists have to know and so on and so on. it's a pretty nice subject actually, but my friends and i have to deal with the most disturbing teacher living on earth. it's the one and only bu lidwina JATUH padmi. she's so..i dont know how to describe her in english but we all know how to make fun of her. we sometimes call her 'tompel'. lol, so what really makes us hate her? her face and her noise definitely.. with such an arrogant face of her and her disturbing noise it's a totally mismatch for us. maybe some other time i'll show you her face.

okay, start with the test. we were asked to make a newspaper with the size of a2. it would be started at 7 and ended at 12.30. i got there at 6:35 to prepare the laptop and the electricity. when the bell struck, we directly do our job, rene augustian, 'chief manager' and i, ruben abdulrachman, photographer and layout designer went around the school to look for pak amin, the person that we wanted first to be interviewed. it turned out that pak amin was nowhere to be seen, so we interviewed the technician of canisius college, pak parji.

i found out that he's been working for this school since 1991. more than 18 years! i've only been living in my life for 14 years.. well, the interview went fast and so we could go back to the base and started to type and edit the whole data. it was all done for me for the group as photographer, so rene told me to go around the school to take more shots and see if there's any possibility to make it as a headline photo. i went around the class and saw some of my friends were playing around the class, some played cards, just running around and playing solitaire. i figured out to take a photo of the person playing solitaire candidly. it went perfect. i directly showed my group of what i'd done and they seemed to be pretty happy. rene accepted it to be the headline photo.

after all the features, articles and news were edited, they were layouted by rene. unfortunately, it passed 12.30 when we succeed to finish.
today the subject was biology and chemistry. i was definitely screwed up at biology! we were asked to tell what we'd seen by looking with the microscope! i was dead for god sake.. it was totally an astonishing test for me, i thought it's gonna be much more simpler. and the chemistry test was easy. hopefully it'll cover up the biology.. and tomorrow's gonna be computer and english speaking test. yay!
